The 'Witte Kaproenenplein' is situated in a densely populated and lively neigbourhood.
Detectors installed at the entrances of the surrounding apartment buildings activate a pump installed on the square which ejects a vertical jet of water, everytime someone enters or leaves the building.
This jet of water can turn into a genuine fountain when the coming and going is frequent enough.
Doesn't this 'movementdetector' satisfy our human curiousity?
